I've been slower the last couple days posting incidents where police violate press rights at ICE protests in Los Angeles.
That's only because I'm (temporarily) prioritizing this tracker spreadsheet, used for accountability efforts. 50+ in under a week. I get word of more incidents every few hours.
What would your future self say to you right now?
As a child, Shamsa Sharawe was brutally cut. As an adult, she underwent hours of reconstruction surgery. As a mother, she vowed to protect her daughter from female genital cutting. And now as a social media influencer, she is persuading others to do the same. trib.al/z8NU9U3

The Supreme Court declined to take up a pair of gun-rights cases Monday, leaving in place Maryland’s ban on semiautomatic military-style rifles and Rhode Island’s restrictions on large-capacity magazines.
