I just came from the “ICE Out for good” rally in South Elgin. Amazing, with a temperature of 13 degrees F there were many hundreds, maybe more out there with signs and flags and making new friends while we were at it. It was only an hour long but even with good gloves, my fingers were ready to go.

I see that Trump has issued an order banning Harvard from enrolling foreign students. Unsure of what authority he has over such an issue but nobody is stopping him from a lot of bad actions that seem illegal.

Did staffing cuts at weather service affect Kentucky’s tornado response? Due to staffing shortages, the National Weather Service in Jackson no longer has overnight staff. But NWS and Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear say the office was staffed Friday night and early Saturday.

All three Kentucky offices - Jackson, Paducah and Louisville - are short-staffed.
