At CED, we take Halloween very seriously, but we won't let that get in the way of starting to prepare for our Winter Soiree in December.

I never know what to say when someone asks my favorite song, book, band, movie, food, etc. I like lots of things for many different reasons, or different moods, etc.
However, I do have a favorite spoon.
Circling back to this now that I posted June reads.
Read this for work, and was hopeful about a positive spin on pole and adult themes.
It started cute, but had me seething by the end. So tired of #notastripper attitudes.

Book covers for The end of Summer by KJ Micciche No Self No Problem by Chris Niebauer The Way of Integrity by Martha Beck Annie Bot by Sierra Greer
Reads for June.
I personally got a lot out of The Way of Integrity. This was good to read after last month's Burnout book.
Also, ooof Annie Bot. That hit in some interesting ways.

So many sexy series and workshops, it'll be hard to decide.

This is like every pole dance bachelorette party over the years in one. That was a fun read.
Party in chapter 4.
Ok. Cute, like the appropriate beginner pole moves, but the alcohol is hurting me a little bit.
Ope. Ha! Of course HE shows up! That just took me back to a crazy bachelorette party I hosted at my original space in 2009.
I have sooooo much to say about this place's pole party offerings and process. Can you actually get away with this in Cape Cod? Or is this literary creative license?
The Cleveland market is SOOO different. Sounds like the early days of pole studios from my perspective.
On to the party. Chapter 3
Book cover The End of Summer By KJ Micciche
Digging in to this today. Not my typical read, but I'm feeling a flirty summer vibe.
In the author's words this book promotes "the strength, glory, and inner beauty of women at every age that can be unearthed through the sport and art of pole dancing."

Every month at CED is Pride Month, so June is just Flexibility Month.

*"Impression That I Get" starts.*
Nope!
Now I'm reading up some basic info on Tenant Unions. I do not have time for this shit, but I also don't have time for more building entry issues, and car break-ins that come with warmer weather.

How do you think you get there?
How do you think you start identifying the people you might gel with, and get those deep conversations you likely both have been starved for?
I know small talk is horrible and seems pointless. It feels like wasting time and you want deep conversations.
But.
May will bring us the return of twerk classes, a new lyra class, and more chances to get help with your routine for the Summer Student Showcase in June.

something that I try to convey when I write erotica that might be weird is... I think the mechanics of the body are very sexy. when you put your hand on your partner's belly & you can feel the muscle tense up all the way to their neck. the way breasts fall to the side with gravity.

April 2025: Creating Shapes and Choreography!
We're playing with creating new shapes during Shape-ril, getting ready for our annual Summer Student Showcase, and looking forward to the warmer months ahead.
Thinking about plans for Shapril next month at #ClevelandEclecticDance .
Holding shapes longer, rising, falling, tracing lines, and exploring movement through the parts of the body that remain free from the grip, head position and gaze.

Science bringing it all together. This content. Right. Here.
Some of my Flexibility students might be interested in this since we just spent a couple months on leg and core connections with the pelvic floor.
