Early voting Friday in Dallas, Tx: Dems and Reps shared the same location, 10 booths each.

All 10 Democratic booths were full with a line five deep. Staff said it had been steady all day.

Republicans had two booths in use and no line.

When I sat down last week with our next Governor, Rep Gina Hinojosa, the question of who voted in the TXSD9 Runoff came up. Was it Republicans who drove the win? I walked through it (so this clip is almost all me), talking about strategic primary voters and running on values.

A number of Senate Democrats have reportedly had “general discussions” about whether to skip Trump’s State of the Union address on February 24th. Senate Democratic Whip Dick Durbin said “virtually everyone is thinking about it.”
