I do believe that, with time, ACEvo is going to be great. very fun to hop in and race. but it has a LOT of kinks to iron out, and I really hope that they get around to ironing them out by the time 0.5 or hell even 1.0 comes out

maybe im asking for too much. None of the assetto corsa games iirc have had any proper tutorials. I love AC Rally but that was essentially throwing myself into a wall until I figured it out. I love the base AC, but by that point i already had enough experience to teach myself.

- play and practice different aspects of the game, but really it's just you driving around time trial style, the game doesn't actually Teach you anything. I would much rather they really Lean into the Gran Turismo style and actually teach you the basics of racing in this game

- and they have my full support and sympathies. For a game of this quality to exist in 0.4 is amazing to me. but at the same time. god please in 0.5 fix the menus PLEASEEEEE

also please redo the "Academy" thing. It feels like it's trying to do Gran Turismo's License system by making you-

But, even though it's in early access, these are just some things that bog down what would be an AMAZING experience. from what I understand, the team working on ACEvo have been having a lot of issues getting this game going and only recently have they been able to get stuff going again-

ACEvo has a really good core I think. the game looks amazing, sounds amazing, and despite some personal issues with the Porsche GT3 which is probably just realistic to a fault (the fault being that I can't drive a GT3, which, skill issue on my part), I think the game is amazing to play.

I HAVE AUTOMATIC THROTTLE BLIP ENABLED !!!!! IT SHOULD DO IT AUTOMATICALLY !!!!!!!!!!

For example, the ford escort. Shifting with an H shifter requires you throttle blip and you can't shift when redlining. yeah that seems reasonable.

Except it's not CONSISTENT. you can redline and shift freely when using sequential ON THE SAME CARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

if I have an H-Shifter bound at ALL, it disables my sequential inputs. Worse yet, shifting with an H shifter is really finicky, probably because it's trying to be realistic. except it's not, you can use a sequential just fine, no issues

no, it'll only work if you have a menu on screen. no clue why you thought pressing a button bound to a gameplay feature would work during gameplay.

heavy sarcasm aside, the game also does NOT play nicely when using both H-shifters and sequentials.

Assetto Corsa Evo has so much work left to be done on it in so many aspects it Kinda drives me nuts.

I don't understand how there's input lag on the menus and setting up inputs is just an absolute nightmare

I stopped using sticker mule absolute ages ago because of the owner’s bullshit. The owner is still on his bullshit, so if you use sticker mule, maybe don’t. StickerAPP is a good alternative, and also there’s most likely a local sticker printer near you (Sticker Ninja in Portland, for example).
