Brexit was an attempted counter-revolution against many of the changes this country has gone through since 1945. It has turned out to be a failure with elements of farce. This has driven many people on the Right completely mad.

The media can only deal in slogans and people who supply snappy sound bites!

Anyone with detailed policies or with solutions that recognise difficulties in implementation and nuance is just too much like hard work to explain!

Sad but where we are!

To say this is somewhat at odds with the news and social media narrative would be the understatement of the year.

Also if Ed Davey is that popular vis Farage why is the mainstream media practically ignoring him?

The media coverage has no relation to number of votes, number of MPs, or popularity. Hence Kuennsberg's grudging "Congratulations, I suppose" to Ed Davey.

Farage used to be seen as slightly less odious than the awful Nick Griffin. Until the BBC treated him like a star.
