Meet three scientists who said no to Epstein The warning signs included a web search, a mother’s doubts, and inklings of a β€œsexist attitude”

How did these men know to stay away from Epstein? One googled him, one asked his mom for advice, and one actually listened to what Epstein said to him and quickly realized he was a witless misogynist.

It wasn't that hard, and every scientist who claims they didn't know is either lying or stupid.

Let's try this again πŸ‘‹

Hi Bluesky - I'm Massachusetts' Attorney General. You might know me from suing President Trump nearly 50 times, beating Uber and Lyft in court, or being the first woman of color elected to statewide office in MA.

I officially left X today - help me find my MA people?

He looks so expressive, I took it for a SNL sketch at first. Joyous that it is real.

This was Alex Pretti at work at the VA honoring a veteran who had passed.

This is who they're trying to falsely smear as a terrorist and assassin.

I finally finished this Enterprise D LCARS cross stitch! Was supposed to take about a year, but longcovid had other plans for my brain and ability to count. So it's been over four years instead. It has a bazillion-jillion stitches in it.

I feel like when this movie first came out, they advertised it like a silly Tim Allen movie. Then my dad and I watched it on a plane a few months later, and we were both blown away. My dad’s not a big movie fan, but he spent the next few weeks telling everybody how great it was. I am, and so did I!

Gen "AI" doesn't make it past the resume stage, much less to interview and hiring. I'd never hire someone like that; why would I waste my time and resources on something that doesn't meet basic standards? Knowing ahead of time that I would have to re-do and recheck all its inconsistent work?

I, and others, clamor for other tools that we do need and want but are not met such as better indexes and intentional archiving. I don't need plausible sounding and hallucinatory output from plagiarism machines. If I had a human assistant that was so-so, lied, and stole, I'd fire them.

my favorite thing about the benoit blanc movies is that they aren't really about benoit blanc. he is not grappling with demons from his past. we are not getting flashbacks to the husband whose murder he never solved. he just shows up and does his job like mary poppins for homicides
