And, fwiw, I recognise I could be wrong! I know I'm not on the losses, but perhaps Tamworth don't care about touts.
I was very wrong about the prospect we might get a new owner, let alone one better than the last one, as bad as he was. I'm very pleased I was wrong on that, too!
Let's agree to differ? I believe touting to be an issue that matters here and would mean significant revenues going to touts rather than a tiny, loss-making NL club.
You don't, and that's fine.
We can both at least agree that it would be nice if ticket prices were lower?
I'm not saying it's impossible.
What I'm saying is that despite technology it remains an issue. So I suspect it's not that easy to solve.
And it's certainly not going to be National League Tamworth that solve it for a one off cup match.
Who enforces the non transferability of a ticket?
That's a lot easier said than done though...
Sorry, Victoria Park, doh.
Southend, Dagenham and Barnet most likely away winners (though Dagenham's pitiful form suggests otherwise).
Tightest match on paper is at the Victoria Ground. #oafc have to win if they are serious about pushing for promotion. And Hartlepool will think the same...
Happy New Year! This year, I'm going to fix the issue with Dagenham & Redbridge, but in the meantime, it's NYD in the National League.
One relative home banker happened already yesterday - Solihull beating Tamworth. Halifax, Wealdstone and FGR are the others today.
Toss up for #oafc at Hartlepool.
We have to agree to differ. Touting is a huge problem for the smaller Premier League teams and there's no way it's not an issue when a top PL team visits a NL team.
I don't like price hikes any more than you but I'd prefer loss-making Tamworth get the revenues not the touts.
