Great study from abroad. This begs the question, can parental reading and the presence of books at home overcome genetic predisposition?

Stathis Psillos book is an excellent introduction to and overview of the problems of correlation and causation, and providing explanation, a central background to master when aiming to separate the theoretical wheat from the chaff advancing knowledge of crime and its prevention

Cover for the book entitled "Write No Matter What: Advice for Academics" (by Joli Jensen)
Although I managed to turn my morning walks into a habit (thanks to audiobooks), I've never managed to do so for writing. This morning, I finished this helpful audiobook, "Write Now Matter What"; now, I don't have any excuse to start writing 15 min every day, as the book recommends. Wish me luck!

I have the first one, I think it was very helpful, and I try now not to schedule appointments before 10 (at least the ones I decide). It has helped me a lot

This great paper shows how controlling for genetic confounds can reveal *true* environmental effects, which we can then target effectively for intervention.

Are speech sound disorders risk factors for difficulties in language and reading skills?
This new meta-analysis says yes, and states that this "emphasizes the need for broader language
assessments and early interventions to mitigate future academic difficulties."
