Since moving the (book) series setting to ALX, Cornwell has been much more cautious about using only fictional addresses & rearranging neighborhood locations to reduce impact on residents. Totally get Kidman’s location choice, look forward to watching.

Ugh. Speaking of not singing? Yes, we should never speak of me singing again. Haha. But what I’m trying to say is that I’m nodding at what everyone is saying in here. Hard work, but very rewarding to hear yourself improve & develop your unique sound & abilities!
But to my relief it was all about embodiment & all the stuff @beebrookshire.bsky.social is describing & that was really amazing for me for speaking of not singing. the vocal exercises were um. I’ve suffered for my art & now it’s your turn etc etc. scary, but utterly worth the time & effort!
When I started college I had a piano scholarship & music minors & majors of course have to attend workshops & the only workshops that fit my schedule were vocal. Specifically, opera. And they were held in the ATRIUM. It was def a conquer your fears situations bc let me just repeat: I am not a singer
Have a fabulous time! I miss ICFA terribly. If I still had family in the area I’d go for it even w our loss of conference funding but for now, I’ll just mope, I mean, cheer you all on from afar.

Yeah, I really am glad to be dealing with this now. TBF, the lower level of the house stayed in the 60s & has its own system so we had options, it’s just easier to complain.

Look I moved here from SW Florida for a reason & that reason was not to experience life in the devil’s gallbladder in early March. These are post-The Pollening temps, not 2nd Spring temps & I’m deeply aggrieved at this time.
It was still 82 degrees in my house at 4am. Too much too soon. Tho as I was swearing at the stale dead air the wind picked up & started slamming doors like a proper haunting, so that was nice, I guess. And we found out our a/c is broken now instead of May, so I guess that’s better. Maybe.
Lucky for him they failed up into the next round but jeezus, if anyone respected this guy before they can’t possibly now. How do you lead a team through a series if you’re so so bad at your job? (Very American, really, right down to the Wharton MBA).
Poor @fishinnards.bsky.social - he just ran his car down to the autoshop early so it’s in line for an oil change & walked in the door to be howling with laughter & yelling about being beaned up. He looked a little scared. 🤣🤣🤣
