🚨Since 2009, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has been recording events affecting the physical security of its staff deployed in the field in an online database called SINDY.
My first article on my current History of International Red Cross project is finally out! I hope more texts on Soviet doctors abroad will come out in the upcoming years. This one is on first Soviet doctors in Delhi.

Dr Crossen is Associate Professor at the Centre for Sámi Studies at UiT, the Arctic University of Norway & Visiting Scholar at Carleton University, Department of History He will present his work on Indigenous Women’s Internationalism for 45 minutes. An exchange will follow, including a report on the research he is conducting in Ottawa this June on the international aid work of Inuit Circumpolar Council, and discussions on common interests. The event is co-hosted by the Canadian Network on Humanitarian History (CNHH) and Carleton University Department of History.
