Not that the price of gas isn't important, but I do find it utterly depressing that CNN's website has a constant ticker showing how the Iran War has increased the price of gas and not the number of people killed or wounded.

To be honest, when I was in high school, everyone told me what a great actor and singer I would be, but I went into science because I wanted to be able to raise a family. I love my research, but if I'd known then what the reality of salary would be like, I might have gone theater after all.
