Yoshiki looks sullen, their arms are swinging and it can be interpreted that Yoshiki is reaching out to hold onto Hikaru. Behind them is a forest, the tree trunk directly behind Hikaru has the patterns from his original form on it so it looks like it’s coming out from him. Yoshiki’s arm has the shadow left behind by Hikaru. The title 光が死んだ夏 is centred vertically between the two of them.
