Women to bear the brunt of sick pay changes We are building a future where we do more, faster, to protect our planet and make sure everyone is treated equally.

Just noting the NZ Greens have been consistently clear that changes that will impact how much sick leave people get will disproportionately impact women.

Following on from this, in a Covid wave scenario this disproportionately increases health risk to women.

Yet another clear reason to vote Green.

Shame on Willis for cancelling a perfectly viable ferry project only to replace it a more exspensive, less capable project with a longer lead time.

Under Jacinda Arden’s leadership the Labour Government’s Covid response was one of the best in the world in the circumstances, and likely saved over 20,000 lives.

The second Covid inquiry concludes:

Is this a desperate government who wants to push ideological legislation with not public or expert input.

It seems the throughline of the COVID inquiry is that if the government of the day had had perfect information, then they would have made some different decisions. But, in retrospect, they acted appropriately on the available evidence for the most part

Do people not understand that the UK was still implementing lockdowns 6 months after the last one in NZ?

Solar and onshore wind are at least 60% cheaper than LNG Electric generation. Add battery storage, they are still at least 40% cheaper.
Security? No one's lining up to bomb them.

Another article about police corruption which refuses to use the word.

Abusing your office to gain a benefit for yourself is corrupt. And that's exactly what mcSkimming did here (in addition to all his other crimes)

Go NZ LNG. Wow.

Cheap LNG for everyone. I am so pleased we didn't go for solar.

Luxon "misspoke". Three times. With prepared notes. Said the same thing three times followed by "I don't know how I could be any clearer".

That kind of misspoke.
