Sometimes he gets overstimulated and needs a quiet space away from stimulus. 10 minutes in the pen and he's back to his sweet self, and we can dispell that energy safely by playing!

I know "crate training" has a bad rep, but having a pen where Gatsby feels safe has been great for us both. He's slowly graduating to sleeping in my bed all night, something we couldn't have done without it.
