Phew. Just finished the first draft of the third and final new Percy "Senior Year Adventures" book. Still a LONG revision process to go, as always, but nice to have a complete manuscript to work from. Several projects had jumped in front of this, for reasons I'll explain later, but it IS coming.
On set for PJOTV season three this week. It's become a tradition for visitors to get photos of themselves in Atlas' chamber holding up the sky. I can't show you anything about the set, but Becky made this sticker for your enjoyment. And look, my hair turned gray! Oh, wait...

PJOTV 205 memories: Behold, the offending parrot! He enjoyed shrieking at the most inopportune times during the filming of C.C.'s Spa. Also in the animals' tent, a collection of Percy pigs, er. guinea pigs, and a cute cat. As far as I know, none of these used to be human.
PJOTV 204 memories: Some more inside shots of Clarisse's ironclad, with details you might miss just watching the episode. I was on set during the Sea of Monsters scene, the ship rocking, waves crashing, sailors getting tossed around -- all on a sound stage, but still scary!
PJOTV 203 memories: I got tours of two very different ships and met their captains. First, Clarisse's ironclad. The way the design team constructed a full-sized warship on a sound stage was impressive enough. And then the details they put in the interior to make it feel authentic, WOW.
