Right, point being an extra half second of immediate breaking with 1-pedal seems like it would be advantageous in emergency scenarios
Does 1-pedal have an advantage in emergency situations? Eg: braking starts immediately when you take your foot off the pedal, vs the same action in 2-pedal where braking doesn’t start till you 1) lift foot off the accelerator and 2) put it on the break. Does 1-pedal have an advantage in safety here?

The result of the Park orgs' insistence that a small handful of parking spots be preserved on Park Blvd. Routes 7 and 215, which also operates on this segment, are in the top 5 bus routes by ridership, and, knowing Saturday route 7, this bus probably has 3-4x more riders than there are cars ahead.
