My love for Seattle and Chicago is like a Christmas Hallmark movie. Seattle is the rich boyfriend I made after graduation, and Chicago is my first love that I end up with at the end of the movie. And I will spend the whole “film” (my life 😄) going back and forth agonizing over which one I love more❤️

A colleague asked for travel destination ideas stating that Europe was “too touristy,” to visit, and wanted to travel to some place more exotic. I feel like I’ve lost my mind because I’m struggling to pay for groceries - how are folks able to afford plane tickets right now? (o_O)

The first photo was taken on Thursday, March 20th at 6:57 am in my neighborhood. The second photo was taken that same day (20 March 2025) at 5:41 pm, and ~30°F warmer.

Around 3:15 today, two Boeing CH-47 Chinooks flew over my apartment so closely, my coworker I was on a call with asked if I had left my television on 🥺

It felt very scary, as I have no idea what they were doing, where they were going, or why.
