This is such bullshit. We sell a lot of California rice to Japan every year. And there is an entire branch of USDA that tracks it (NASS).

Actual California rice farmer here…we sell a LOT of rice to Japan every year.

I’ve planted 2 hedgerows of California native plants on our farm over the last couple years and they are my favorite parts of the farm.

I was born in 1970. Summer temps are now 4 degrees hotter than when I was in kindergarten. 🤬

Kenai Fjords National Park

Just got back from a week on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. Absolutely spectacular place! Kayaking in a fjord has long been a bucket list item for us. So grateful to have been able to experience it, while also mourning how fast this landscape is changing.
