Art is a mirror, not a courtroom. If art makes you uncomfortable, it is not a moral failing of you or the creator, it is a challenging conversation to have with yourself.
People need to get used to having uncomfortable feelings instead of lashing out at others because of them.
If I can be so real right now - this is why we have toxic fandoms springing up from and around media for children. People do not like to feel uncomfortable and do not know how to self regulate with difficult feelings or concepts, and blame others for that discomfort.
Today's challenge for you is to find something you think is problematic, engage with it in good faith, and let it shine a light into the mold filled closets of your mind so you can clear and cleanse and come to terms in those spaces.

Gonna springboard off of this to suggest, as @keftiu.bsky.social has, that RPGs which center around pregenerated/preestablished characters are an extremely unexplored design space, and honestly doing that with licensed IP type stuff makes even MORE sense because people ALREADY do this with fanfic

Boy howdy, I have thoughts on a lot of this. The main takeaway is that this was a mismanaged project by all sides, and there's a lot of workflow issues that are rather interesting to dig into.
