Skeletons are a fun mini to paint. Very simple body coloration, but you get to play with the tattered clothing and remains of their past.

Next phase of Undead October is skeletons! They stand right by zombies as the most typical of the fantasy undead. These guys have a lot of personality, if I do say so myself!

I tried something a little different with this Zombie, trying to give a bloated decay look. In retrospect, it isn't very realistic, but it does have a certain charm to it.

A couple more Zombies for my Undead October. These two definitely have more of a civilian appearance, which seems to have a slightly more upsetting lore.

Oh, very nice gradient in the hair! Thats so good!

Zombies are an interesting painting subject for me, since there's so may ideas on what a zombie could look like. I enjoy the way these gray skinned, blank eyed zombies look.

Moving into October, it feels right to post some Undead creatures this month. Zombies seem to be a good way to kick things off, as they are some of the more common forms of undead creatures.

Very nice, great attention to detail here!

It features Guts, a ruddy-skinned man with spiky black hair and brown eyes, and Casca, a woman with brown skin and dark brown hair in a sort of pixie cut. Guts is shirtless and wearing tan pants and dark brown boots with a wide cuff. He is covered in cuts and blood, with his right eye clenched shut after being injured and his left arm being severed near the wrist. He is snarling in rage, holding his broken sword in his right hand while using his raised left knee and injured arm to cradle Casca's limb body. Casca is naked and unconscious, her eyes closed and her head hanging limply to the left. Both characters have a symbol scarred into them, Casca above her left breast and Guts on the back right of his neck. Human bones and strange tendrils float in the pool of blood, and two words are written on the sides of the base. The right side says "Sacrifice", while the left side says "Struggle".

Something a bit different from my usual fare today. A few years back I came across a Berserk themed mini, and I had to get it for a friend's birthday. A bit outside of my painting comfort zone, but it came out pretty good and my friend was thrilled!

She's been really into graphic novels and horror movies recently, so I think this will be right up her alley!

It was amazing! I've got a second copy as a gift for a friend, and will probably be getting a third for my oldest daughter's 13th birthday present. Thank you for crafting such a wonderful story with so much heart and care put into it!

My copy of Hello Sunshine came in yesterday, and when I started reading it last night I couldn't stop. I stayed up until 2 am riding and have no regrets. @keezyyoung.bsky.social made a beautiful, thoughtful, gripping tale full of compelling characters. I can't recommend it highly enough!

The Dullahan is a being from Irish mythology, who holds their unattached head and who relentlessly pursues those whose souls they are sent to collect. In my campaign world, some of these Fey creatures assist the God of Death in collecting souls.

Redcaps are malevolent Fey creatures that dye their hats red in the blood of the people they kill. I'm very happy with how the blood splatters on their boots and the ground looks!

Wisher Pixies have a similar issue to the D&D Pixies, in that their small size makes any detail work on them very difficult. That's not to mention the smaller models often have less details on them to begin with.

The Wisher Pixies from Critical Role seem a bit more whimsical than the D&D models for them. I liked using the pink, green, and yellow colors in different arrangements for the three of them.

Pixies are a type of tiny nature spirits known as Sprites. They are known for their mischievous and playful tendencies, as well as their special ability to create arrows that cause magical effects. I love the way their wings came out!

Satyr, or Fauns as they're sometimes known, are nature spirits of hedonism and revelry. They are also known for their skills with the pants pipes, which they can use to enchant others. Not a bad turn out on this one, I think!
