I just read that Remains Of The Day is Jeff Bezos’ favourite book. It’s about a guy who ruins his life by thoughtlessly abetting fascism. It “has been said to underlie Bezos’s famous ‘regret minimization framework’ philosophy of always taking risks”. THAT’s what he took from it?
