Today, in NC, Trump told disaster survivors that he wanted to dismantle FEMA. He said to let the states handle disasters. Wow. Tell that to the hurricane survivors here in FL who were only able to get help through FEMA. Can it be improved? Sure. Should we be without federal emergency management? 😵‍💫

Increasing the per pupil spending (by almost $200) will mean more money for homeschoolers, private and parochial schools. Aren't they draining enough money from public school? I say increase teacher pay and money for public school technology.

I have been troubled by police presence on ads for politicians, starting with DeSantis. I always wonder if they will protect and serve equally, especially if the t-shirts, bumper stickers, or house signs support a candidate other than the ones whose commercials they were in.
