There was a reverse culture shock period for a couple weeks, but we've settled back in.

My wife & kids (10 & 12) recently returned from 2 years abroad (Croatia & Spain) - visiting 13 countries overall.

I felt safer in 99% of places we went than I do walking 4 blocks to a coffee shop from my house in the US.

And healthcare was transparent & affordable there!

But, friends & family...

Do you view your revenue forecast/projections?

Because most people aren't going to argue with a multi-billion dollar company, and they'll just assume they're right?

At a point there's also just no excuse for payment processors and analytics platforms to not have it more accurate, when it's not hard.

I like having an accurate view, especially early on as fluctuations can make things look dramatically different than they are.

It doesn't have to be real-time, but days delayed, or counting cancelled accounts towards MRR, or not including coupons when they're added simple doesn't make sense.

I was filling out a form today that asked for my Twitter profile URL.

I put in my BlueSky profile URL.

I appreciate these insights from you, as you are obviously intimately familiar with this space.

I agree that the trend is more important.

I also believe it's not that hard to have a more accurate depiction than what's currently available (from what I've seen).
