- Initially, movements were irregular but later concentrated in areas with similar socioeconomic status.

- Mobile phone records show strong comparability with Facebook Disaster Maps.

Using high-resolution mobile phone data and comparing it with Facebook Disaster Maps, we find:

- People from lower socioeconomic class spent the longest time away from home.

- Evacuees reduced their travel distances during the evacuation.
