exhaustion I’m exhausted. Yes, it was a very busy summer and fall season at the studio – and for that I am always very thankful.Β  And, yes – adding the new wool pellet product line is also exhausting...

I just realised that it's been 3 months since my last blog post! It has been a very busy few months - and might that be why this month's blog is entitled "Exhaustion". It turns out that there is a lot I needed to say....Hope you enjoy the read.

Rethinking D’Arcy McGee in a Age of Political Violence As the world watches the frightening spiral of political violence in the United States, I have found myself thinking a great deal about D’Arcy McGee.

A wonderfully written piece on the ideals involved in founding Canada and how they have shaped us into a nation that is intrinsically different from our neighbour to the south.

Looking for a perfect trim to help stop your knitting from curling? I can see the "knit-as-you-go-I-cord" used as a simple trim for the front of a cardigan if you weren’t planning to add buttons. Or maybe to trim the side edges of a split hem. 1/2

Our Prime Minister is very intelligent & has a tremendous amount of experience on the world stage. By listening to Roberts speak, he very likely could have gleaned info not only from Roberts' words but also from his inflections & body language. Trust our PM - he's the best we've had in a long time.

I'm disappointed in the direction your recent posts have taken - a great deal of negativity about PM Carney. I'm attending your PEI event this evening. I hope it is not full of anti-Carney sentiment. We need to be a united Canada as we have a common enemy in the orange fascist to our south. 1/2

Sweater weather is coming! Good thing I just restocked this 100% Canadian 2-ply French merino wool, spun on an antique spinning mule built in 1910. Soft & airy, it resembles a hand-spun wool. 112 g and 198 m per skein. Knit using 4 - 5 mm needles.
