When communities only see extremists on the ballot, they’ll only elect more extremists.

To stop the MAGA pipeline, we need Democrats to step up and run for office everywhere, ensuring that voters don’t have to settle for leaders like Senator Tim Scott 🤮

Senator Scott ran unopposed in 2008 for the South Carolina House of Representatives. Now, as a U.S. Senator, he actively supports a 15-week national abortion ban and is receptive to the idea of implementing even stricter abortion policy.

When Democrats run for every office, we give voters an alternative to MAGA extremism. But when we don’t, we help elevate right-wing radical leaders like Senator Tim Scott 👎

Americans deserve leaders who will fight for their constituents 👊🔥 Finding these leaders starts with making sure we’re recruiting and supporting Democratic candidates everywhere.

Now, Senator Ernst was one of the strongest supporters of Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill,” which recently passed and will cut 7.6 million Americans off Medicaid.

When a constituent told Senator Ernst their concerns about the reduced Medicaid spending, Senator Ernst said, “We are all going to die.”

Building Democratic power starts with making sure no local race goes uncontested. We need to contest every race or Republicans will keep building out their all-star loser list.

Take Iowa Senator Joni Ernst. Senator Ernst ran unopposed for the Iowa State Senate in 2012.

County parties work day in and day out to build Democratic strength and visibility. The launch of the Union County Democratic Committee’s office is a testament to their dedication in ensuring that Democrats have a presence in communities everywhere 🤝

Last year, 70% of Republican general election wins came in uncontested races. This year, there are 100,000 open seats on the ballot across the country.

To stop the national MAGA pipeline, we need to contest every race.

When he ran for re-election, he won again because no one ran against him…again.

Now, he’s become a MAGA 🤡, spreading election conspiracy theories and empowering Trump’s authoritarianism.

When no one runs, Mike Johnson wins — and America loses.

Rep. Mike Johnson, the current U.S. Speaker of the House, kicked off his political career by getting elected to the Louisiana State House in 2015.

The reason he won: No one ran against him.

Rebuilding the Democratic Party isn’t just about securing votes; it’s about showing folks that Dems exist to serve their community. That’s why we’re so proud of the Douglas County Democrats for not letting the elements hold them back from giving back.
