it's with the expectation that their minimal effort should produce maximum effect otherwise that's a problem too.

It's concerning that they don't feel it's worth trying to create, maintain and foster a better reality for themselves.

I'm mostly seeing this from artists who, when they were younger were seeing their inspos go at it but aren't doing so themselves and outside of artfight I notice this mentality a lot. A unhappy with their life/situation/problem at hand but absolutely will not do anything to change it and if they do

usually watch/cheer/judge and not actually dance and eventually you have people noticing the vibes aren't there/the same yet will not try and dance, bring good vibes or anything...they just wonder why it isn't the same...🤷🏽‍♀️

People who invoke racist imagery to "prove" that "fiction is reality" miss that racist caricatures are products of an already racist peoples- in essence, teaching a fish to swim. antiracists aren't going to look at obvious hate propaganda and go "wow they're right, these people ARENT humans"

It's probably nerdy but I do research to accurately portray situations I write about, purposely expose myself to media similar to/relating to the thing I'm trying to portray. I want to scribble ideas and muse before I commit because what if on my third attempt, I strike gold? I want to fall in love

My creation process will probably look different from yours. It's awesome it takes you just {insert time here} but that's not me.

I know in this day and age folks prefer quantity over quality and *New* to consistent/ genuine effort but...
I want to put out works/characters/art that I care about.
