They still look like cigarettes tucked incompetently.
Very cool. I've only seen it frozen. That little valley is an incredible wind funnel.
Those are awfully big numbers
Maybe they are afraid of cats or insects?
The old and the new. Forth road bridges converging over the ruins of a pier.

I think I saw that guy on a mountain in Iceland
Those rocks look like the prow of a ship cutting through the water.
Thank you, I shot a lot of mushrooms on that trip after seeing an off-hand suggestion that it was a possibility, and the light on that morning was nice and diffuse.
These mushrooms on the grounds of Glengarry Castle reminded me of melted candles as they grew out from a long fallen tree stump.

Play the bench for the second half.
The river really gets going before it goes over the top of the falls at The Hermitage.

These trees on the shores of the Loch of Menteith were barely hanging on by their roots.

That looks like a 90s laptop price
Are the reindeer around? There was a big group in that area the last time I was over.
I was there not long ago, they drew a lot of business before games at Matthews Arena. With the arena being gone for a couple of years I can't imagine that helped things at all.
Hopefully something else will take that spot. Otherwise, RIP the prison urinals.
This was the first highland cow I saw, in a very soggy setting.

I've seen a couple but never in such a majestic setting.
I was first there in September 21, the wind was shocking. Nice photo, it was very flat and gray the day I visited.
I know a Chilean who lived here for a few months and told me that it would be considered good there.
With the almost perpendicular angle, I focused on one segment of the Forth Rail Bridge, with the lighthouse and fortified island beneath its piers.

Roll that rock up the hill.. Nothing bad will happen.
I got briefly distracted from the nearby Loch to look at these ferns in their autumn colors. I rarely see them not fully green or brown.

Bad week for players named like Salt n Pepa songs
The waterfall at The Hermitage was cool, but I had more fun shooting the ever-changing spirals in the foam downstream.

Yeah I was scanning around for clear west views and it was one of few things that stood out on the map. I was also looking at where 28 crosses the Mystic but there are billboards on the horizon of that shot.
I did a simulation yesterday and I think from the Russell I would have been limited to 120mm or so to keep anything in frame.
