Bad week for players named like Salt n Pepa songs

Long exposure of swirling foam on a stream, making spirals Fall foliage on the far bank.

The waterfall at The Hermitage was cool, but I had more fun shooting the ever-changing spirals in the foam downstream.

Yeah I was scanning around for clear west views and it was one of few things that stood out on the map. I was also looking at where 28 crosses the Mystic but there are billboards on the horizon of that shot.

I did a simulation yesterday and I think from the Russell I would have been limited to 120mm or so to keep anything in frame.

Nice I was trying to figure out a shot from the Bill Russell bridge but it was too "close" to everything. Really nice stuff.

Always liked that natural arch in the second photo.

The first one reminds me of a very scary day.

Trees reflected in a lake, deciduous/autumn colorful ones in front, then a row of evergreen, then a layer of fog.

Fog rolling in added another layer to the reflections in Loch Tummel, near Pitlochry in Scotland.

Account update, I'm mostly back but under a blizzard currently. Glad I'm not trying to fly home today which was the original timetable.

Rain clouds and a peeking sun are reflected in low, tidal waters while a stone castle stands imposingly on the right side.

The sky was being quite dramatic on my visit to Ellean Donan Castle on the west coast of Scotland. The sky reflected nicely in the tidal waters.
