There has been a significant increase in orphanhood in the last two decades in the U.S., according to a new study.
New study published in @natureportfolio.bsky.social Medicine estimates that 2.9 million children (4.2%) in the United States had experienced the death of at least one parent or grandparent caregiver responsible for most of the basic needs of the child in 2021
