Black dragon horns were surprisingly hard to get right. I couldn't figure out why the few plushies that existed had horns reminiscent of bananas taped to the side of the head. 🤣
It took 4 attempts, and the first couple definitely had a taped banana vibe.

Yah, I wouldn't be surprised if they just said "too bad" if that happened. It's a massive convention though, and they do it in several states, so I don't think anything like that will happen. They'll just continue to treat artists badly.

Automatically accept anyone who rebooks from the year prior. Is that a normal thing? To have so many rebooks that you hardly accept new applicants?
TLDR; I didn't get my con table, and now I have some extra stock for sale! Good news for you guys! 💜

Starving artist application money to hire big name celebrities, sell enough advance tickets for those names, then funnel the ticket funds back as refunds for applicants they don't have room for. This is all theory, but I wouldn't put it passed them.

The real kicker is that they didn't send out status emails until the day after advanced ticket pricing ended. So even though I'll be getting a full refund (2 weeks from now), if I want to attend as an attendee, it'll now cost much more.
I have a sneaking suspicion that this con uses...

Seems a bit fishy to me. Usually there's an application fee, not a full charge, for the table. Unless that's changed. I'm also usually able to find out my status as accepted, rejected, or wait list WAY before 2 weeks. I'm not mad I was rejected, but it would have been nice to know before I made...

Convention update:
I did NOT get a table. Despite applying at the beginning of the year, paying in full when I applied, and regular emails to find out my status, I was notified a mere 2 weeks prior to the con that my application was rejected.
I haven't done a con since 2018, but the whole thing...

There's a small gap between the main wings and the tail fins so it can maintain floppyness. So glad it gives the impression that they go all the way down, though! That was the goal! 💜
