This line: “And while Republicans generally don’t want to add to the federal deficit,” is just not reflective of reality. Republicans talk about the deficit when they aren’t in the White House, when they are in the WH they add to it in catastrophic fashion. Deficits always rise under the GOP.

Joy of joys, #SUPERMAN really is SUPER. It’s a movie full of hope, kindness, and decency. Lex Luthor is menacing and Superman does super stuff, like punching bad guys, but at the same time showing his care and concern for others. It’s all I’ve ever wanted in a Superman movie and peobably a bit more.

I certainly can’t unsee that now!!

Been a slow summer for sunflowers in my garden this year it’s nice to see these beauties growing near each other. The thistles are artichokes that have blossomed. The ‘chokes do have pretty flowers.

One of the reasons I am so excited about the new Superman movie this summer, is that Superman has always inspired hope. Superman is a hero not just because he is strong, but because he has empathy and compassion for others. Those are qualities I need to see on a big screen right now.

“Last Jedi” is so much better than “Rise of Skywalker.” At least “Jedi” tried to do something different and creative. After 2 previous films the Emperor is back? Cheapens all of “Return” and Vader’s sacrifice.

Sadly with Capall Bann now defunct this book is out of print, but many of its most important bits can be found in Heselton’s excellent “Witchfather” a biography of Gerald Gardner. This book was a revelation to me when it was released and I still cherish it today. #witchcraft #witch

Published by independent English publisher Capall Bann, “Wiccan Roots” was hard to acquire in the States but worth the effort. New Forest in the 30s was rife with Rosicrucian groups, co-Masons, ceremonial magicians, cunningfolk, and eccentrics-just the right stew to bring forth the Wica.
