I’m incredibly proud to have submitted a comment that represents some of my best work and that I hope will contribute to an important conversation. This process pushed me to think critically, refine my legal writing, and explore a topic I’m deeply passionate about.

After months of researching, writing, and editing, my colleagues and I have officially submitted our law review comment drafts to the University of Dayton Law Review board for the opportunity to be selected for publication. ✨⚖️

Thank you to NKU Salmon P. Chase College of Law and the incredible Northern Kentucky Law Review team for bringing this symposium to life. Thank you to the panelists and speakers for sharing your time and experiences with us.

As law students, we often discuss cases in the abstract. I had the rare opportunity to meet the people behind the casebooks—to hear firsthand how each step shaped their lives, how counsel fought to make the impossible possible, and how it felt to stand at the center of such a historic moment.

I recently had the privilege of attending The Northern Kentucky Law Review’s symposium, “Obergefell v. Hodges — 10 Years Later.”

It was a day I will carry with me always.

I'm also thrilled for the opportunity to help coach next year's hybrid team! Here's to another year of advocacy, collaboration, and pushing the boundaries of persuasive argumentation!

I'm excited to share that I've accepted a position as the 2025-26 Hybrid Justice of Administration for the University of Dayton School of Law Moot Court program! 🎉

In this role, I'll serve as the primary liaison between boards while planning the 2025 Virtual Walter H. Rice Competition.

There is a growing need for accessible legal assistance, and every hour dedicated to helping others makes a difference. If you’re a law student or legal professional, I encourage you to get involved; the impact you can make is immeasurable. 🫶🏼✨

When I started law school, I set a goal to complete 50 hours of pro bono work before graduation. I’m incredibly grateful to share that I’ve already surpassed that milestone. Now, I’m challenging myself to double it and complete 100 hours of pro bono service before my last day of class this December.

I love attending a university that encourages and celebrates pro bono! 💙❤️

Pro bono work has given me the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life, listen to their stories, and offer support during difficult times.

Gratitude is the gateway to greatness. 🫶🏼

Serving on the student boards for both FBA and PAD has been an incredible experience. As we prepare for graduation and the bar, I’m grateful for the impact we’ve made and the connections built along the way.

Oral arguments before the state’s highest court have always been special to me. Watching attorneys—who have poured countless hours into preparing—advocate with everything they have is powerful. Equally inspiring is seeing the justices’ depth of knowledge through their questioning.

Yesterday, UDSL’s Federal Bar Association Student Chapter and Phi Alpha Delta Waite Chapter teamed up to host a day at the Supreme Court of Ohio, giving 1L students the chance to witness oral arguments in person before they step into their own during their legal research and writing classes.

Few experiences are more valuable for law students than seeing advocacy in action. 🏛️👩🏻‍⚖️

I can't wait to see what this next year has in store for the UD Law Review. But for now, we're all preparing to take our positions and focusing on submitting our final comment drafts. Oh, and crossing our fingers for publication! 🤞🏼

I'd like to express gratitude for our coaches, the event organizers, and the judges and bailiffs who volunteered their time. I'd also like to thank the UDSL Moot Court Board for their support and guidance.

My biggest takeaway from this experience is the critical balance between preparation and self-belief. Competing at your best isn't possible without thorough preparation, and it's hard to enjoy the experience without confidence in yourself and your abilities.

We dedicated countless hours to drafting, editing, and refining our brief, as well as preparing both our on-brief and off-brief oral arguments. And that preparation paid off—we knew the facts of the case inside and out, we understood the caselaw, and we were confident in our arguments.

Last week, my moot court teammate and I argued at the 2025 McGee National Civil Rights Moot Court Competition. 🏛️✨
