Waffles the Virginia Opossum

Opossums would rather not bite, but I'm sure you know that. Hopefully he'll come out during the day, sometime. They need sun for vitamin D, just like we do!

Slowly getting better. Thank you for asking! We had a chicken pass away yesterday Poor Soleil. ☀️😰 My hubby dug her grave, but I decided I was healed enough to shovel the dirt back in. Bad idea! I'd probably be perfectly fine if I'd listen to the doctor and stop doing stuff like that!

So is Waffles! I started making what I call "goo." It's steamed, mixed vegetables, cat food soaked in electrolyte water - no flavor, and peach, strawberry, and/or blueberry yogurt. I blend it all up in the Ninja. You can, of course, play around with the ingredients a little. Waffles loves it!

Hey! It's Mama! How have you been? As for jelly bean, I'd say get a styrofoam cooler and make a soft blanket and towel insulated den. Old throw pillows are great to put in, too! Plus, make sure you feed them extra veggies, fruits, and berries since they don't grow naturally in the winter.

I'm happy Jellybean is doing well! I was hoping they would be okay through this hot summer! 💙💙💙💙💙

That's strange. We're here, although we didn't post much when we had COVID (exactly 2 weeks after Mama's right arm surgery). So maybe I should say we're baaaaack! 😂
