Of course, we were specifically looking at multipotent radial glia. When we look at committed astrocytes and neurons, Pb exposure is associated with increases in cell death!
Hi Kelsey! This is likely a phenomenon that only occurs in development, specifically around the time of the gliogenic switch. We observed the suppression of gliogenesis in GW16-20 radial glial cells, whereas in GW21+ cells the phenotype was attenuated.
to the PIs, is it advisable going on job market this fall when things are seemingly falling apart, or riding the postdoc wave for longer (while funding lasts) for some semblance of stability?
