I would argue that it isn’t the whole team doing a terrible job. While we can blame it all on RM, what manager is going to make our usual starting VI premier league worthy? We saw this team have 3 managers in a season and what did it get us?

If your manager at work tells you to do something and you keep messing it up, whose fault is it? While RM has to take a proportion of the blame, it cannot be all at his door. This team isn’t good enough for this level, especially when we’re missing 5 of our key players.

I don’t disagree entirely, but McCarthy has been making these mistakes way before Martin’s tenure. Martin set us up well today with an attacking team. We also have to remember we were playing the league leaders, it was always going to be difficult!
