my love/obsession for an art can help maximize my family’s wealth from what usually amounts to a horrible job (auto industry) for basically all Americans by turning my discerning eye & consumption of vehicles from a need, risk, hobby to overconsumption & inevitably wealth inequality. Fucking hell

It’s crazy to think about wealth, inequality & the systems of our society that have now been taken to the absolute fucking extremes & how they are leveraged against the other other 99% of society where you poked & stuck by greedy fucking corporations at every single turn whereas w/just a few tweaks

I know this isn’t a normal way 2 talk about wealth, accumulation & the ease that comes w/ a few breaks in the right direction instead of continually having capitalism sink its teeth into every single aspect of our lives where its sole design now is to extract the maximum amount at all possible times

The same can go for people in many different ways in any country in the world but it’s that access to “beginning” wealth or fuck idk middle class by today’s standards that can allow your wealth with just, for me, an obsession/love for cars to start to allow your money to work for you. The access.

And that’s something I know most Americans don’t understand about how wealth works for in ways money has never and will never work for us.

Those people don’t have to keep working and grinding away to build a good life into generational wealth for their extended family bc their money just grows more

enraging watching as someone from the sidelines that won’t even know what the type of comfortability 99% of Americans won’t ever know or experience. That ability to grow and amass more wealth simply because I had “some” money and a great understanding of a certain market in my culture my life.

Just in the years I’ve been a proper lol adult two decades or so the car collection I could’ve amassed with my very good eye for great cars that inevitably become collectibles I could’ve grown my own net worth in one of the more frowned upon ways, building a car collection.

And the thing is you don’t have to be a Harvard econ professor to explain how just having that access to wealth (not even talking past say 10 or 20 million) makes it so much easier to continue to build to wealth just because of the different avenues available to you to get the money 2 work 4 you.

Throughout the years that have just continued to grow and grow and grow in value. You don’t have to be a Jay Leno type collector either to build an awesome very unique collection of great cars but simply because you have a moderate amount of wealth and just the access to decent funds.
