Small correction: it isn’t a fish!! My professor did some further digging and found that it’s a Cerebratulus!! Crazy, I never knew they could swim like that

Got what seems to be a larval gunnel fish? Not actually quite sure! It was mistaken for a worm on the beach and brought back to the aquaria, and now it’s just hanging out with all the invertebrates! 🦑

Literally just now we just figured out the guy he saw as a friend never saw him as one. He found out they were never friends and he’s devastated (his only other friend left him after this). Averian I’m sorry

It’s that time of the year for Onchidoris bilamellata to start laying their eggs, which are the squiggly and squishy white things next to some of these guys. It’s such a treat seeing these guys!! And to only think I saw my first one in my twenty-two years of being on this beach just last week 🦑
