Each Majique season type has their weaknesses aligned to their opposing element. For example, Sole-Wielders are weak to the night and the cold. They run out of majique energy when the sun goes down, only having a limited amount stored from the day, like a solar-powered human.

Sortilege Majique is based around seasons and their elements. For example, a Vernal-Wielder (Spring) will summon their staff from their cardinal direction (north+air) and will need air and flowers perform their majique on. They can cast a spell by thinking it, but they need knowledge of it.

My characters always interact with Arthur's and some have formed relationships with each other, such as my Madelyn and his Jordi in his story, and some are co-owned by us both, such as Lazaros, who is Ashley's love interest in both stories. This has helped developed our characters more and it's fun!

Favorite Genre to write: Fantasy, Dramedy, and Slice of Life with mystery elements!

Genre I'd never write: Horror and Hallmark Movies.

Majique is mispelled as 'Magic' by the commonfolk. They view it as an evil taboo, or dismiss it as a delusional joke, or mistake you for a 'magician', which Sortileges take offence to. Sortileges hate Magicians. Some Sortileges refuse to associate with 'commonfolk' and consider it taboo.

Very accomplished! I finished writing up my Majique lore pages, updated outdated things on my website, finished Madelyn's full ref turn-around, updated chapter 1's retcons, and am in the midst of sketching Ashley's full ref turn-around! I finally feel like I'm on the right track now!

Ashley has photosynthesis majique to grow plants.
Madelyn can manipulate plants into other objects with her majique.
Jaclyn has a green-toe. Her feet have been cursed to have an odor that kills plants, sans toxic ones.
Juniper specialises in succulents. She's not good with flowers due to allergies.

It's nice to see more of Mercy again! I love that outfit on her! It's so very her and suits her perfectly!
