As an instructor, one of my favorite end-of-the-semester activities is to prepare the syllabus for my next semester. I get to step away from grading, and play around with text selection. Peak happiness comes from designing the layout, obviously.

Quite fortuitous that I get to teach Steinbeckโs โThe Moon is Downโ in these dark and trying times. It gives us much to think about as we wrap up our course on American Modernism.
