maybe the bay area is an anomaly (in a positive way) or maybe i'm just lucky but i have never had first hand experiences with these types of people and it's so baffling to me that they exist. like "furry internet drama" is so alien to me. everyone i've interacted with has been chill and cool.

i've had plenty of friends date and break up amicably and remain on good terms. people have conflicts and they resolve them. the vibe has always been top tier. seeing tumblr call-out posts written by adults feels like a window into a different world.

I used to memorize them by the pattern the number made on the t pad. If I ran into a dial phone, I'd do the pattern in the air to remember the number before dialing.
