mhm ive come to find that a solid, 70% effort is consistent enough and manageable for daily output. leaves wiggle room for extra, and obviously you can always ease off the gas haha

its tough because i feel like around that age is where u develop habits and you start to think all-nighters are viable, and then yeah you hit your 30s and your shit starts to explode lol

Right like in a creative field you cannot function if your mind is hazy. Once awhile we put in our 120% but doing that constantly is why so many people burn out in less than a year

If it's a legitimate condition then I think it's totally valid, and obviously if you're not bragging about it either. I will say some people work the night shift just fine as long as you're getting your proper rest at some point!

Crunch deadlines here and there I get it but people deserve better standards than pulling all-nighters and starving to draw lool

That's always a factor yeah. Even I've had to delay my commissions due to life circumstances but I always make it clear to them and offer refunds if I can't meet deadlines. Thankfully my commissioners have been super sweet but yeah just SAY something!

Take a year or two I legitimately don't care as long as you say so and we didn't set a deadline. But blacklisting when people ask is poor service imo

At some point I really wanted to go into UI/UX since that's both relevant and something of interest but finding a job for that is so hard that eventually i had to find something you know haha

Perhaps I'm not strong enough as I am but I need to stay hungry and grow until nothing can stop me
