Finally - I started a new contract 🥳.

It's expected to end in August, but there have been hints of a permanent offer

Outside of Bearly Fit...
I've announced Deadly Business - my game dev project.
which already has 140 followers on LinkedIn.

I've started to learn unity and over the coming years we'll be building a horror themed business sim - in public.

Part 4/7

This is 2 months of "organic" growth so really is just the beginning.

In August I plan to release
✅ Life logs
✅ Workout session improvements
✅ Some more exercises
✅ Fix issues you've all kindly raised.
✅ Add exercise search to the website
✅ Release our first merch

Part 3/7

On the socials side
- 1940 followers on LinkedIn
- 57 followers on Bluesky
- 71 followers on IG
- 180 people in the community

The positive response to my app has been incredible and frankly a little overwhelming.

I know people are enjoying them and honestly it's really useful for me to look back on when self doubt takes over

In July we finally got @bearly.fit live on iPhone!

- 419 people have downloaded it already
- 17 people have left reviews
- 9 people have subscribed

Month 10 of Building in public!

I wanted to take a slightly different approach to these posts.

So I'll start sharing more detailed stats, give better insight into the bigger "building in public" picture and possibly do a write up which goes into even more detail.

Alright so I f**ed up....

Yesterday's release broke the app for new users...
But look! I've fixed it!

This small patch will fix
- Crash for new users preventing the app from loading
- One UI 7.0 bug causing the status bar to overlap the navigation

Sorry... love you...

Android 1.3 is now rolling out!

This should fix a bunch of UI and performance issues as well as introduce Automatic exercise updates (if you opt in) and the start of home screen widgets.

We should be live on iOS soon and then my priorities are....

Another day, another workout with @bearly.fit

I didn't pursue software engineering, I worked as a retail manager and then call centers before this.

I'd always been building stuff but no one would hire me because I didn't have an education.

I'd probably go in to a trade now! and considering the market, that's likely.
