The correct answer depends on the project and desired outcome of the model. lol

String literals that you narrow down to never! Then if you introduce new options you get compile errors where to fix!

"Historically, we've approximated this. React Native is authored in Flow, but the community has long since moved to TypeScript in open source"

Yay typescript!

How do we create groups/communities that can join forces so they are no longer solo?

Yea def not good for the public library use case. I thought it was an internal only library.

With code organization and github.com/javierbrea/e... you can kinda get there.

Inherited `baseUrl` is not respected Β· Issue #807 Β· microsoft/typescript-go // @filename: src/tsconfig.json { "extends": "../configs/tsconfig.base.json", "compilerOptions": { "target": "esnext", "module": "nodenext", "outDir": "../dist", "strict": true, }, "include": ["**/...

Note for those using "baseUrl" its not supported, and is scheduled to be deprecated in TS 6+ (github.com/microsoft/ty...)

I just spent 30 mins migrating my codebase away from using it.

Anyone up for some Michigan fishing? Hoping to connect with fellow anglers for feedback on a mobile app I've been working on. Casual hangout, beautiful scenery, and hopefully some fish! Let me know if you're interested!

I much dislike the future of everyone's output being llm fluff. I followed a popular GitHub repo for a few months and read every issue to become more familiar with the codebase. One of the maintainers used an llm for every response. I hated it so much I stopped following the project.

Agreed. It's just the next investment/marketing rush after crypto did the same thing.
The marketing is so prominent its brainwashed dev into thinking that they must start with AI first.

If there is a measuring board then it zooms in to where the fish tail is to get a better view, and allow you to quickly enter the length. If the species detection is poor or wrong, another screen is available to enter it.

Looking for more anglers (on android) to help test the new features!

My goal is to make the entering a catch as seamless as possible. Its subtle here, but after the picture is taken on device it runs some ML models to detect the fish species and detect if a measuring board is in the photo.

Reminds me of when I worked on windows servers for a while. "was there a windows update" was usually the first thing we checked for. Lol

GitHub - javierbrea/eslint-plugin-boundaries: Eslint plugin checking architecture boundaries between elements Eslint plugin checking architecture boundaries between elements - javierbrea/eslint-plugin-boundaries

Just came across github.com/javierbrea/e... yesterday.

I'm sure its overkill for some, but allowing you to setup custom rules for what layers of code can import is really nice for me.

Example:
I can ensure that my react components do not directly reference my database layer.
