I don't mind the freeze-dried crunchy ones on occasion, but I don't seek them out.
Tell that to 6 year old me! I still won't touch them. I even pick them out of fried rice.
We had to finish everything, even if everyone else had gotten up to watch TV or whatever. Peas were the bane of my existence, but I eventually figured out that I could put a big spoonful in my mouth without biting down, run upstairs to the bathroom and spit them in the toilet.
