As I complete another interview with someone doing their thesis/dissertation, I realize this is becoming more popular.

Before Autcraft, people wrote about limiting screen time but now countless papers are about the benefits of video games and online play for autistic people.

Somehow, my time at the computer is even more productive when I spend the majority of my time not at it.

I met this family having a relaxing nap by the lake today.

Just a reminder, if you can start referring to the new Pope by his chosen name after becoming Pope, then you can do the same for trans people.

My fear is that RFK Jr's registries and attacks on autistic people will cause less people to seek a diagnosis or speak up, and when autism rates begin to decline as a result, they'll claim that as a victory and use that to justify removing vaccines entirely.

Autism isn't new just because you've never heard of it before.
The % of people being autistic isn't increasing, we're doing a better job of diagnosing people.

There is no epidemic. We've always been here.

Make no mistake, RFK Jr may be stupid, but this move is calculated by an administration and a group of very wealthy people who want you to be perpetually sick, poor, and uneducated, because that makes it impossible to ever rise up and fight back.

He KNOWS they won't find the cause of autism. He KNOWS that autistic people often live very full lives.

None of that matters. He's not talking to you.
He's triggering a group of people who want somebody or something to blame, no matter the cost to anyone else.

Everyone in the autism community knows they're wrong. The majority of people who have even heard of autism in passing knows they're wrong.

But there's enough people who will believe them that those diseases will return, and if there's enough of them, even those vaccinated will be at risk.

The #1 cause of bankruptcy in the US is medical debt. Each time someone ends up in the hospital, a very wealthy billionaire gets richer. But it's not enough, they want you all to get measles and other preventable diseases, so they drum up an old argument because fear works.

People angry about RFK Jr's comments on autism are missing the point, his mission is to make you sick. Casting doubts on vaccines is the best way to do that.

They know most people won't believe the things he says, but enough people will to not vaccinate and jeopardize herd immunity.
