1st Panel - Romeo thinks "For a moment... I thought..." A faraway shot showing the position they're on. P on top while Romeo holds his face. The reflection on the water below shows Romeo and Carlo in their school uniforms 2nd Panel - A close shot of P's face with Romeo's human hand tugging the hair on the blue-eyed boy's ear. There's a fade on P's right side, vaguely looking like Carlo. P asks, "Is something wrong?" 3rd Panel - Romeo smiles, cups P's face, saying "Not at all! I'm Just Fine!" but P looks worried. 4th Panel - They're sitting again, P sits on his own legs. Romeo says with a smiley face, "Let's take it easier, shall we? I can teach you French kisses!"

P's identity contrasts Carlo's by nature of course, so there'd still be similar identity issues, just, like... if it were closer to Romeo's ship of theseus situation, y'know...?

i will say one thing however (emboldened). i joined LoP fandom after everyone settled on P being his own person (which is the point canon makes, i don't disagree) but i wish i could feel like i have some space to explore P or RB!Carlo being a genuine Carlo reincarnation. i think that'd be fun
