(i did also think that perhaps nuCarlo is also quite the party animal, and often sneaks out to go clubbing with Venigni which father detests because company rival and trauma from his firstborn being kidnapped+killed. So P is the one to keep an eye on him at night... poor boy is overworked)

I imagine nuCarlo is quite co-dependent and clingy towards his brother at night, mostly bc Father forbids him from sleeping with him (he needs to sleep for work...). Whenever P tries sleeping alone, NuCarlo just sneaks into his bed anyway so it's easier if they just sleep together, maybe.

It's soo frustrating. This type of fussy editing is the reason why I push things onto my beta or ask my readers to point out errors because otherwise I'll never get chapters out if I had to keep looking at the document lmao. (Also good luck! Praying you get lots of kudos and comments <3)

Honestly 5 is probably a modest number too... it's more like 7-8 rewrites lol.

...But because I've been distracted, those edits keep getting re-edited because I don't think what I wrote was "good" enough lmao. It's a cycle... I really need to move the fuck on from this one part fr. 🤦‍♀️

I've mostly been struggling with chapter 21 because of this one segment I've rewritten like 5 times. Seeing as I've not been writing as much recently, I keep going back to it with fresh eyes and tweaking it and trying to clarify it better lol.
