Answering machine messages. So many skits of those. I mean you could do a voice notes one but when did you last leave or get one of those?
Movie clips don’t count as skits! I mean all the fake game shows, weird gross sex moaning, etc. Some are still part of the song or whatever but mostly…yeah, it’s clear why this died off.
The further we move away from the skits era, the worse they hold up. They aged like camembert: started out stinking and just got worse and worse.
