Thank goodness it wasn’t ours! One of my kids is super focused on repeating things he hears but doesn’t understand. We are currently discouraging the use of skibidi toilet and sigma. It’s funny how language adapts when kids use it.

Last week I thought I was losing my dad. Tonight he is home and getting to sleep in his own bed. I’m thankful to the doctors that pushed for surgery to stop the bleeding. Now we just wait for the biopsy results.

We are taking care of my dad’s dog while he is in the hospital. Our neighbors set off fireworks all night with grand finales at 12 and 1. It was excessive. We just spent an hour cleaning up our kitchen floor bc the poor pup had a few stinky accidents from all the stress.

I saw my dad this morning and wished him a #happynewyear! He might get to come home from the hospital at the end of the week. Let’s hope for a healthier and happier 2025!

My dad is doing better post op. They found a mass that didn’t show on the CT. They removed it and have hopefully stopped the bleeding. Now we wait for results.

I used to do that but now I use the same starting word.

My dad is headed into surgery this morning. Send all good thoughts to him and his doctors. We are praying they will find the bleed and be able to stop it.

My dad has been admitted to the hospital. We went and picked up his pup so she wouldn’t be alone. We let the rescue know we couldn’t take Thor. Everything happens for a reason. Prayers for my dad are greatly appreciated.

So pup adoption plans going on hold. My dad was taken to the hospital this morning. Since I’m still not feeling good, can’t be with him. I just want him to be ok. His blood pressure was low and he’s had a bleeding issue since last week. They might have to give him a transfusion.
